The Baltimore Fiddle Fair is a unique festival in that it consistently features a world class line-up of national and international artists, yet presents them in intimate settings in the beautiful seaside surroundings of Baltimore. The four-day event includes workshops and sessions (including late night ones) at a number of different venues around the village. Though it started out as a traditional Irish music festival, it has become more eclectic over time and has featured Cajun, Old Timey, Classical, Breton, Rock, and Country music, as well as traditional music from everywhere. Today the Fiddle Fair is recognised as one of the very best traditional and folk music festivals anywhere in the world.
