Walking festivals are a great way to get out and enjoy the local countryside, including its history, folklore and wildlife, in the company of other like-minded individuals and with an expert guide to identify and explain points of interest along the way. Each walk takes in a different area or island. The type of terrain varies, but there are walks for all levels of mobility – some are leisurely, some more strenuous – so walkers can choose the walks that suit them best.
