Heir Island Regatta is an annual sailing event on the waters around the island. Racing classes include lobster boats, Heir Island Sloops, Drascombes and dinghies. All are welcome and there is a handicap class for any boats that don’t fit in elsewhere. Above all, the regatta is about fun and fundraising for local causes. Food and drink is served after the racing.
